The EE-ISAC is proud to be in a Media Partnership Agreement with Smart Grid Forums in organising the 5-Day Conference, Exhibition & Networking Forum from June 13-17. This week-long event will provide fellow power grid cybersecurity leaders with an exploration of the IEC 62443 concepts frameworks and controls with an accurate representation of cybersecurity risks to the operators.
This Conference aims to further improve the understanding of IEC 62443 and enable power grid cybersecurity leaders to successfully adopt the IEC 62443 as part of their broader security management system. (While the Week will start off with Workshops on the fundamentals of the IEC 62443 Workshop, Tuesday up until Thursday primarily focus on case study discussions. The week will conclude with Friday’s briefing session on new insights into how the standard can be leveraged to safely drive offensive cybersecurity strategies in the OT environment.)

The panel focuses on creating a framework for a cybersecurity management system with IEC 62443-2 to define policies, procedures, and guidelines for operators.

Deciding on the most appropriate combination of standards for organisational requirements as defined in the appendix of the IEC62443 including ISO 27001, NIST, NERC CIP and CAF

Using IEC 62443 as an umbrella for harmonising relevant standards with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) within your organisation

Taking the time to adequately assess the entire organisational picture of people, processes and technology to get a holistic view of risk

Assigning roles, responsibilities, and accountability for cyber risk within the organisation
